Desiree of dMdC Photography sent me this album and said she’d let me choose between either Green Label or Organic design styles, and I think the organic style fits this album perfectly! With the soft tones in some of the portraits, it complements the feel of the wedding perfectly.

I finished this album design before the holidays and cannot wait for Kelsey Thompson to start showing her new sample to her clients throughout the winter booking season! The lemony organic accents in the album might just be the antidote for a dreary day and the right start to getting clients more excited about her work.

Kelsey at K.Thompson Weddings sent in this beautiful wedding last week and requested the Organic Design style, but done in a very subtle way. I’m thrilled with how the design came out and can’t wait to hear what her client thinks of it. It’s headed to Vision Art in a fun new size.

Mixing Album Design Styles

Leslie just sent this wedding over to me, asking me to design her a killer sample since the wedding was in Paris, France. Since Leslie does a lot of Organic Design wedding albums, I thought keeping that idea and expanding a bit would be great for a sample album. I sampled colors from the bride’s bouquet and used a mix of color-blocked and organic design elements.

Designing for Unique Album Sizes

I’ve been designing a lot of 20×8 albums lately! Desiree from dMdC Photography sent over a beautiful collection of images filled with rustic touches and many portraits. I think a 20×8 album is best with fewer images, to really portray the showcase style of a full 16×20 spread.
