Why
Why use Willow Album Design? There are many reasons a photographer should outsource their album design. Perhaps your busy schedule means you never quite get around to designing a great album for your clients. Perhaps you’d rather spend those hours behind the camera or meeting with potential clients instead of in front of the computer. Or, maybe you’re great at telling a story with images, but struggle with telling the story on a layout.
How
After completing your info form and uploading your images via ftp or sending them in on disc or hard drive, your design draft will be ready within a week. You can opt to use our album review site or receive jpegs of the design spreads to upload on your own site. With our album review site, you or your clients can enter comments with each spread. Once your change requests have been completed, you will approve your design. At this point, we can send your layered Photoshop files via ftp or on your hard drive.
What is included?
There are two levels of design, Basic and Premium.
Basic includes:
- 30 sides/pages
- black and white conversion at our discretion
- you upload your images in two folders, “must have” and “optional”
- 1 round of design changes
- layered PSD files at completion
- starting at $200; additional sides are $7/side
Premium includes:
- 30 sides/pages
- black and white conversion and color toning or textures at our discretion
- you upload all wedding images and we select for album, or you choose with “must have” and “optional” folders
- 2 rounds of design changes
- layered PSD files at completion
- starting at $300; additional sides are $10/side
Our designs work best with around 2 images per side. For both Basic and Premium levels, designs that average more than 3 images/side will incur a $50 surcharge.
